It is better to give then to get. You can judge the character of a person by how he treats others who can do nothing for him. you can give better effort but you may not win, that is why it is called a sport. 73 tony W6AMD

I would like to thank the TCG for the 2011 TNQP LP out of state plaque. It is always a pleasure participating in the Tennessee QSO Party. I'm looking forward to working you all again in 2012. Special thanks to W9WI, N2WN, and K4BP for their efforts in making the TNQP one of the best! Thanks again & 73 de Rick WB8JUI

I am a member of the Bristol Tennessee ARC but my score was not included with the club score. I do live in Bristol, VA but I am a member of the Bristol Tennessee Club and submitted my score for the Bristol Tennessee Club. Bristol is a twin city and I am actually the official scorekeeper for the Bristol Club.

Even though I worked the 2010 TQP, I was not active in the 2011 TQP, or even on the air that I can remember, during that time. I have received several QSL cards requesting confirmation for QSOs during the 2011 TQP. It appears that someone other than myself was using my call sign. Personally, I don't mind, but it is really a disappointment for those that have their cards returned by me with a note telling them that they are not in the log. I am glad that no log was submitted using my call for 2011 because it probably wouldn't have had the highest score for Bradley county like it did in 2010. Danny - W4DAN

I am very disappointed by the posting of these results, and the accompanying writeup. I put in a serious effort, posting a score of 31K from 2,000 miles away with LOW POWER, but got zero recognition in the writeup and no certificate. K9JF got no recognition for his great score from WA (that beat mine), also with Low Power, nor did OK2EC or HA1AG for very good Low Power scores from EU. Today is the day of TNQP for this year, and I am far less motivated to put in ANY effort at all, let alone the serious effort I did last year.

I'll be SSB on 40, 20 and 75 in the evening when it opens. I'll be perched outside on the patio. Sort of a "mini Field Day" as I'll be setting everything up for a temporary station after just moving here from
Texas. Looking forward to many QSOs! (and a few mosquitos)
